Day 3: Explore Mannar and Transfer to Trincomalee
Spend the day basking in the sun on Pasikudah’s golden beaches. Enjoy water activities like surfing, snorkeling, or simply relaxing by the calm, shallow waters. Overnight stay in Pasikudah.
Day 4: Explore Trincomalee
Make your way to Arugam Bay, a haven for surfers and beach lovers. Spend the next two days enjoying the vibrant beach culture, surfing, and exploring nearby attractions such as Pottuvil Lagoon and Crocodile Rock. Overnight stay in Arugam Bay
Day 5: Sigiriya
Explore the wonders of Sigiriya with a visit to the iconic Lion Rock Fortress, where you can climb to the top for stunning views and see ancient frescoes along the way. Day 6: Tissamaharama
Journey to Tissamaharama for an adventurous Yala National Park safari. Spot leopards, elephants, and other wildlife in their natural habitat. Later, visit the sacred Kataragama Temple for a spiritual experience. Overnight stay in Tissamaharama.
Day 7: Tangalle
Move to Tangalle, known for its pristine beaches and tranquil ambiance. Spend your day relaxing by the beach or exploring nearby attractions like Tangalle Lagoon or rock temples. Overnight stay in Tangalle.
Day 8: Mirissa
Travel to Mirissa and explore its highlights, including Coconut Tree Hill, Secret Beach, and Parrot Rock. Visit Madiha Beach to spot sea turtles and unwind by the ocean. Overnight stay in Mirissa.
Day 9: Relax in Mirissa
Embark on an early morning whale and dolphin-watching tour to witness these majestic creatures up close. Enjoy the rest of the day soaking up the beach vibes in Mirissa. Overnight stay in Mirissa.
Day 10: Galle
On your way back, stop in Galle to explore the Old Town and its Fortifications, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Visit the Galle Fort, Dutch Reformed Church, Fort Lighthouse, and Maritime Archaeology Museum. Enjoy a scenic bike tour if time permits before heading to the airport.
